THE STORY BEHIND MIARUNA
MIARUNA was born from the meeting of two worlds — Ukrainian heritage and Italian craftsmanship.
Inspired by the symbols, stories and traditions of Ukraine, I create each piece by hand in Italy, using Italian leather and traditional embroidery transformed into a contemporary language.
Every ornament has a meaning. Some carry ancient symbols, others hide words, wishes or personal messages encoded in cross-stitch. They are not simply decoration — they become part of the story of each piece.
This is the idea at the heart of MIARUNA: to create objects that are beautiful, meaningful and deeply personal — pieces made to be carried, lived with and remembered.

MEET THE MAKER
I’m Viktoriia Savchenko, founder and maker behind MIARUNA.
For me, creating by hand has always been more than simply making beautiful things. It is a way to give an idea a form, a story and a meaning.
Every MIARUNA piece passes through my hands from the first idea to the final stitch. I choose the leather, develop the design, create the embroidery patterns and carefully assemble each detail by hand.
My Ukrainian heritage is an essential part of my creative language. I reinterpret traditional symbols and embroidery in a contemporary way, combining them with Italian leather and the craftsmanship that surrounds me here in Italy.
I create slowly and intentionally, one piece at a time. This is why no two MIARUNA pieces are exactly alike.
Each one carries a little of my story — and is made to become part of yours.
