RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY
At MIARUNA, every piece is handcrafted with care and attention to detail. We want you to feel confident when purchasing one of our creations.
This Returns & Refunds Policy explains your rights and the conditions that apply to returns, refunds and custom-made items.
READY-MADE ITEMS
If you purchase a ready-made MIARUNA item online, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the day you receive the item, without giving a reason.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact MIARUNA within this 14-day period and clearly inform us of your decision to return the item.
After notifying us, the item must be returned in accordance with the return instructions provided by MIARUNA.
CUSTOM-MADE & PERSONALISED ITEMS
MIARUNA creates one-of-a-kind pieces that may be made according to the customer’s individual specifications, including selected leather, colours, embroidery, symbols, initials, dimensions or other personalised details.
In accordance with EU consumer law, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
For this reason, custom-made or personalised MIARUNA pieces cannot be returned or exchanged simply because the customer has changed their mind.
This does not affect your legal rights if an item is faulty, damaged or does not correspond to what was agreed when the order was placed.
RETURN CONDITIONS
Returned items should be carefully packaged and sent back with all original accessories, packaging and documentation supplied with the item.
You may inspect the item as you would in a physical store. However, you may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functionality of the item.
Please take particular care with leather products, as scratches, stains, moisture, improper cleaning or other signs of use may affect their value.
RETURN SHIPPING
Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the item.
We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service and keeping proof of postage until the return has been completed.
Please contact MIARUNA before sending a return so that we can provide the correct return instructions and return address.
REFUNDS
Once you have informed MIARUNA of your decision to withdraw from an eligible purchase, any refund due will be processed without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date we are informed of your decision.
For returned goods, MIARUNA may withhold the refund until the item has been received back or until you provide evidence that you have sent it back, whichever occurs first.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless another method has been expressly agreed.
Where applicable, the refund will include the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered at the time of purchase. Any additional cost resulting from choosing express, premium or another more expensive delivery method will not be refunded.
DAMAGED, FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If your MIARUNA item arrives damaged, appears to be faulty, or you receive an item that does not correspond to your order, please contact us as soon as possible and provide your order details together with clear photographs of the item and, where relevant, the packaging.
Where an item does not conform to the sales contract, your statutory consumer rights remain fully applicable. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, an appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, a proportionate price reduction or a refund.
Where repair or replacement is required under applicable consumer law, it will be provided free of charge and within a reasonable period of time.
NATURAL LEATHER & HANDCRAFTED CHARACTER
MIARUNA pieces are made by hand using genuine leather and traditional handcrafting techniques.
Natural variations in grain, texture, tone, pores, small marks and other characteristics inherent to genuine leather may occur. Likewise, slight variations in hand stitching, embroidery placement, finishing and other handmade details may make each piece subtly different.
Such characteristics are part of the individuality of a handcrafted MIARUNA piece and, where they are consistent with the product description, photographs and agreed specifications, are not in themselves considered defects.
HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN
To request a return, please contact MIARUNA before sending the item back.
Please include:
- your name;
- order number;
- the item you wish to return;
- the date the item was received;
- a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the purchase;
- photographs, where the item is damaged, faulty or incorrect.
We will provide you with the appropriate return instructions and return address.
Please do not send an item back without first contacting MIARUNA, as this may delay the processing of your return.

Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or reduce any rights that you have under applicable consumer protection law.
For consumers in the European Union, statutory rights concerning withdrawal from distance contracts and the legal guarantee for goods remain applicable where required by law.
